GitLab is a source control and CI platform that can host platform code, GitOps manifests, and build workflows. BullSequana AI integrates with a configured Git repository and does not deploy or require GitLab specifically.

## Why It Is Used [#why-it-is-used]

In BullSequana AI Foundation, GitLab is one supported external delivery option for organizations that already use it. GitHub or another compatible Git service can provide the same manifest-repository role.

## Deployment notes [#deployment-notes]

BullSequana AI does not install GitLab in the target cluster. Administrators configure the GitOps repository URL and credentials for the Git service selected by the organization.

* `Argo CD`, which reconciles manifests from the configured Git repository.
* `Harbor` or another OCI registry, which can receive images and charts produced by GitLab CI pipelines.
* `Platform CLI`, which publishes rendered manifests to the configured Git repository.
