BullSequana AI runs AI and Data workloads on customer-controlled Kubernetes infrastructure. It combines user-facing experiences and stable APIs with shared identity, inference, storage, networking, observability, and delivery services.

## Product domains [#product-domains]

AI and Data use the shared controls supplied by Foundation. Applications consume documented product interfaces instead of connecting directly to internal components.

## User entry points [#user-entry-points]

BullSequana AI exposes different interfaces for different responsibilities:

* **Portal** for end users working with models, conversations, files, knowledge, and supported AI experiences
* **BSQAI API** for applications and developer tools
* **Developer Workspace** for notebooks, pipelines, experiments, and model registration
* **Data services** for integration, streaming, analytics, and dashboards
* **Platform CLI and GitOps** for deployment and platform operation

## Multi-tenancy and access [#multi-tenancy-and-access]

BullSequana AI is multi-tenant. Each tenant represents a customer or organization isolated from other tenants. Teams provide delegated access boundaries inside a tenant.

The platform carries tenant, team, user, and service-identity context into product interfaces. Administrators manage federation, membership, and delegated roles; BullSequana AI applies the corresponding authentication and authorization controls.

## Deployment control [#deployment-control]

BullSequana AI supports BullSequana hardware, private and sovereign cloud environments, and customer-managed Kubernetes infrastructure. The same product domains run across these environments while deployment guides capture environment-specific prerequisites and integrations.

Platform software, models, and documentation can be delivered through private channels for disconnected operation. Core services run inside the customer-controlled environment, and external telemetry is not mandatory.

## Typical user journey [#typical-user-journey]

1. The user authenticates through the configured identity provider.
2. BullSequana AI resolves the tenant, team, and assigned permissions.
3. The user opens the Portal, Developer Workspace, or another authorized service.
4. Product interfaces expose only the models, data, applications, and operations allowed by that context.
5. Foundation services provide inference, storage, workflows, and telemetry behind the experience.
