Component Description
APISIX was an API gateway used in the Runtime layer to expose, route, and protect platform traffic in earlier versions of the platform.
Why It Was Used
In previous versions of BullSequana AI, APISIX served as the controlled entry point for services and APIs, centralizing routing, traffic policies, and authentication integrations. It has been replaced by Gateway API (Envoy Gateway), which provides a Kubernetes-native routing model based on the Gateway API specification.
